Installation of Canons –

The Rector will be installed as Treasurer of St. Canice’s Cathedral, Kilkenny on Wednesday,15th March @ 3.30pm. The Rector of Abbeyleix will be installed as Chancellor.

Coffee Time –

Saturday, 16th January 2010 - This will be a “drop – in” type of morning and new faces are beginning to appear!! Your are invited – all of you – to drop into the Rectory on between 10.00am – 12.30pm. The idea is to facilitate parishioners meeting each other over a cup of tea or coffee. There will be a biscuit and, if your lucky, maybe a scone and jam! There will be a jam-jar for anybody who might like to make a donation to the Hall Restoration Fund – no obligation! This invitation includes all of all ages.

Confirmation Classes –

Friday, 8th & 22nd January in Rectory @ 6.30pm – If you have not spoken to the Rector about being confirmed this year, please do so asap. Confirmation will be in Lismore Cathedral on Sunday 27th June 2010.

Bible Study –

Thursdays during Advent, 5th, 12th & 19th December @ 8.00pm in the Rectory – subject: The stories of Jesus’ birth in the gospels of Matthew and Luke; based on the book “An Adult Christ at Christmas” – presented by the Rector and curate – all welcome!
